I am heartbroken to report that my beautiful little Lola died early yesterday morning. She passed away peacefully in her sleep.
Lola, the little black cat born on Halloween would have been 17 next year. She was an amazingly perceptive feline, with quite a vocabulary. She was never shy about voicing her opinion.
She had a wonderful life, full of love.

A couple month ago I lost our Annibale -he was almost 18- (he just looked like Merlin… and believe me, I had a spasm in my hearth). It’s terrible to see you beloved reaching for the “Light” and each time it takes months to get over it… Having all these lovely creatures living with us inside the house, actually we see them died because of old age or because of not curable diseases… Now we still have only five of them… Have a peaceful 2016, for sure another small kitten will join you for good and love! 🙂 claudine

I lost my 17-y.o. Coolidge last August, at home, in my arms, very early in the morning. I thought I’d never be over the grief, but we actually brought Effie home that very evening, and what joy she brought with her! My vet was right when he told me that a new cat would likely be helpful. May you be comforted in your loss of Lola.

OMG…I just lost my black kitty Lettuce not too long ago. Sorry to hear. Lettuce was a princess diva, and she kinda looks like Lola in the face and eyes…my heart skipped a beat when I saw the picture.
